After receiving an MFA in Visual Communications in 1994, I embarked on a 31-year odyssey — to find myself, unlock the meaning of life and crack the code to baking the perfect pizza. Along the way, I mucked about as an illustrator, writer, designer, art director and part-time banjoneer.
I currently work at BarkleyOKRP in Kansas City as Executive Design Director, where I lead a talented team of misfits and problem-solvers. My (and their) efforts have garnered recognition from the likes of SXSW, The One Show, Print, Webby, Clio, AIGA, Effie and National Addy Awards, among others.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, making things out of wood and wrestling with a graphic novel idea that’s haunted me since 1976.
